Classroom Technology has to follow many rules to use technology under copyright laws. A main copyright law that is the foundation of classroom technology is the Technology, Education, and Copyright Harmonization Act. This act shows teachers what they can and cannot do in classrooms with regards to technology and what rules they have to follow. In general under this act teachers can use a distant learning system in which their students do not need to be in the classroom to learn. However there must be a certain amount of actual classrooms that are not online. There are many other rules and regulations but these are two general ones. Teaching online is becoming more and more common in today's society, however, under this Act students still must have live class sessions regardless of whether or not the class is predominantly online or not.
